OUR STORY

WHERE CHULA BEGAN

Chula was born from a feeling of home. After starting over in a new country, surrounded by a new language and a different way of life, we found ourselves missing the familiar colors, traditions, and little pieces of Mexico that had always been part of us. Chula became a way to keep that connection alive and share it with others. Inspired by Mexican culture and the beauty of handmade craftsmanship, our creations bring together tradition, creativity, and individuality. We believe that every piece should feel special, which is why our designs are intentionally different, allowing each creation to have its own personality and story. From handmade jewelry and yute handbags to personalized creations, every Chula piece carries a little piece of the culture and home we love. What began as a way to feel closer to home has grown into a way to share that feeling with others—one unique creation at a time.

MEET THE ARTISAN & FOUNDER BEHIND CHULA

Chula is a piece of my heart that I get to share with you. I create every piece from scratch, by hand, with love, patience, and dedication. As someone who carries a deep love for my Mexican culture, creating these handmade pieces has become a beautiful way for me to stay connected to my roots and share a little piece of Mexico with others. Every design is inspired by creativity, memories, traditions, and the things I love about my culture. I put care into every detail because I want each piece to feel special, meaningful, and unique. For me, Chula is more than a handmade business; it is a way to tell a story, celebrate where I come from, and share something that represents a part of who I am. When you choose a Chula creation, you are not only taking home something handmade; you are taking home a little piece of my story and my culture.
